Sadbh’s update – February 5 2016
Sadbh slept great all night
and was back in action and well enough to go to school today.
She had a wonderful day at
school and was so happy when I picked her up afterwards.
It was a long day but by
bedtime she was ready to hit the sack. She wanted me to snuggle up with her and
both of us were fast asleep in no time at all.

Sadbh’s update – February 4 2016
Sadbh had a much better
night but we decided to keep her home from school just to be on the safe side.
To make her day fun I
brought her to the Museum of History and Industry. She had a great time and did
not want to leave.
It was a long day for Sadbh
and she did not slow down once.
By bedtime she was worn out
and it did not take long for her to go to sleep.
I’m hoping that she has
another good night and that she can return to school in the morning.

Sadbh’s update – February 3 2016
Sadbh had another fever
during the night so we gave her Ibuprofen at 4am. She settled back down for two
more hours before Cillian woke us all up.
We kept her home from school
today and overall she had a good day. Her temperature was slightly high but she
was comfortable and in a very good mood.
Her temperature started to
spike in the early evening and she was looking very flushed.
We gave her another dose of
Ibuprofen just before she headed up to bed and she was fast asleep in no time
at all.
We’ve scheduled an
appointment with the doctor for tomorrow morning if she has another spike in
her temperature tonight.

Sadbh’s update – February 2 2016
Sadbh had a much better night and felt good in
the morning. We figured that she was good enough to go to school and this made
her very happy.
She had a good day at school and had chocolate
all over her face when I picked her up after cooking class.
In the evening, she started to feel poorly and
looked very flushed. She had a temperature spike at 103 so we gave her some
more medicine and bundled her up nice and comfy.
It did not take long for the meds to kick in
and her temperature dropped down to her normal level.
She was in a better mood and soon went to bed
for a good nights rest.

Sadbh’s update – February 1 2016
Sadbh had a good night and her temperature was
normal when we checked in on her throughout the night.
Shortly after three she woke up screaming for
mommy. Katie went into her room and Sadbh told her that she had bad dreams.
Katie snuggled with her for a couple of hours until Cillian woke up. Katie sent Sadbh in to snuggle with me while
she put Cillian back to sleep.
Her breathing was slightly labored but she was
in a great mood when she woke up.
We decided to keep her home from school to be
on the safe side and after a relaxing morning I loaded Cillian into the
stroller and the three of us headed off for a long walk up to Capitol Hill.
Sadbh got fussy after an hour or so and by the
time we arrived home she had a slightly elevated temperature.
She even took a nap, which is very rare these
days, but when she woke up she was extremely disorientated and only wanted her
mammy. She wanted to throw up and she had a splitting headache. We gave her
some more Ibuprofen and thankfully it did not take long before she was feeling
much better.
The rest of the evening was very relaxing for
Sadbh and she got plenty of snuggles from us all.
