Sadbh had a decent but not a
great night sleep. She woke up around 1am and it took an hour and a half for
Larissa to get her back to sleep. She really only fell into a deep sleep around
5.
She woke at 7 and it was off
to the kitchen for breakfast. She had a good appetite and devoured her food.
Caity worked today and Sadbh
was happy to see her. They had a fun morning and when it came time for her nap
Sadbh insisted on a bath even though trach care wouldn’t happen until later.
She slept for a couple of
hours and had a big appetite when she woke up.
I arrived home and Sadbh was
in a fantastic mood. She grabbed a bunch of her hats and before I knew it we
were running around the house wearing her hats. It was so much fun and she
could not stop laughing.
My parents arrived back from
their holidays and Sadbh waited eagerly by the front window for them. Her long
wait paid off and she was ecstatic as soon as they walked in the door.
She could not get enough of
them and when it came time for bed she wouldn’t go. She got so upset and it
took a while to get her calmed down.
Katie and I managed trach
care as soon as she was asleep and thankfully she slept right through the whole
thing.
