Sadbh
slept soundly until 7:15 and was over the moon to see Mommy.
We
are transitioning Sadbh from her cot to a big girl bed but since she is hooked
up to a couple of medical equipment we cannot make the transition in one go.
Before we convert her cot over we decided to get her a comforter so she can get
used to sleeping with that rather than a light blankie.
During
our visit to the store today Sadbh decided that she was ready for a big girl bed and picked out the bed she wanted. It was a bed fit for a princess, however
this little princess will have to wait a little longer before she gets a bed
like this.
Sadbh
could hardly keep her eyes open by the time we arrived home so we cleaned her
up and put her straight to bed. She was out in no time so Jenna and I got stuck
into trach care. Sadbh slept for another twenty minutes or so and eventually
woke up after we tried to cap her trach.
The
rest of Sadbh’s evening was spent playing and having as much fun as possible.
Despite
being tired and occasionally tired, she was happy hanging out and when it came
time for bed she was ready to test out her new comforter for the first time.
