Sadbh had yet another great night
sleep and did not wake up until almost 6am. Once she was awake, she insisted on
showing Larissa all her toys. This meant that Larissa had to bring Sadbh out
into the living room to play with all her toys.
Sadbh had a small breakfast and went
back to sleep until after 8am.
She had a fun morning and after
breakfast, it was time to play with her dolls and other toys again.
Nadia was working with Sadbh today
and she taught Sadbh how to climb off the couch.
Basically she explained how to do it
and showed her one time.
Sadbh figured it out and showed off
how good she was throughout the day. It blew us all away how sharp and how
quick she is to learn.
After a fun morning of playing and
learning, it was finally time for trach care. Sadbh was fast asleep and allowed
Nini and Nadia to manage everything quite easily.
She slept for another hour or so, and
then it was time to fill her belly.
When it came time to practice on her
Passy Muir Valve, Nini and Nadia took Sadbh out into the back garden to play on
her bike as a distraction. Sadbh did ok, but kept pulling her PMV off every
chance she got.
Later in the day, all three ladies
went for a nice long walk, and Sadbh had a fantastic time.
Shortly after arriving home, Sadbh
showed off her walking skills and at one point she took at least 10 steps
towards me. It was very impressive and Sadbh even seemed impressed with
herself.
She is one smart cookie and we are so
very lucky.
