Sadbh woke up at 6am (which was really 7am with the
daylight savings time adjustment).
She wanted to go up to see me (Katie), but our nurse told her that
everyone was still sleeping. Sadbh
was patient, but was very excited when I entered her room and took over from
the nurse.
She was even more excited when she remembered that
auntie Kristi had stayed the night and soon Lulu, Hayato and Alibaba arrived
and joined the fun. It was a very fun
morning. Hayato made pancakes
again and Lulu and Sadbh got dressed up in their beautiful dresses and played.
By the afternoon, Sadbh was a wreck and overly
exhausted. During lunch, she could
barely hold her head up. She was
so tired, that she decided she needed to take a nap and she said goodbye to
everyone, went into her room and fell asleep. Unfortunately, the nap didn’t last long enough and she was
awake again 20 minutes later, still very tired and cranky.
After everyone left, Sadbh and I got busy playing
downstairs with her wooden castle blocks.
Soon, Michelle arrived and the fun continued. Sadbh put on her ladybird wings and her swimming goggles and
went for a dive in her toy box.
There was a shark in the box and it gave Sadbh a little bite on her back,
which she talked about for the rest of the night. She’s looking forward to
bathing in the sea (of toys) more tomorrow morning. Hopefully there will not be any more shark encounters.
She passed out early again and was sound asleep by a
little after 8pm (which was really 9pm).
Hoping she’ll have a good night sleep.
