Sadbh slept well however it was difficult to gain an
accurate temperature reading since she was so sweaty all night. Thankfully she
did not have a fever.
When Jirapa tried to give Sadbh her medicine at half
past four she refused to take it.
An hour later Sadbh needed to be suctioned and as
Jirapa suctioned Sadbh woke up. She was in a good mood and despite all attempts
she refused to go back to sleep.
Sadbh was a lot better than yesterday but you could
tell she was still a little groggy.
She was very active throughout the day and refused to
take a nap or any quiet time.
We got a chance to head out for a stroll around
Seward Park and within minutes of being placed in her stroller Sadbh was out like
a light.
She napped for almost forty minutes and when she woke
up she wanted to play in the playground near where we had parked the car.
We could not say no, especially after the last few
days of her feeling miserable.
Sadbh had so much fun and by the time she was done she
was exhausted.
Once home it was time for a bath and then trach care.
Before trach care Sadbh was getting cranky and started to act up. She was beyond
tired and really needed to go to sleep. It took a while to calm her down and
once she was in a better mood we were able to get trach care done and then it
was time for a much needed sleep.
All
the best,
Wayne, Katie, Sadbh and Cillian
