Despite having a fairly rough evening, up to and shortly after the night nurse started her shift, Sadbh had a surprisingly good nights sleep. It was restless, however the nurse was all over it and Sadbh slept until shortly after 5am.
I popped in to see her on my way to work and she was full of smiles and was as happy as ever.
Her day overall was quite good and her heart rate was back to normal.
Ali-Baba dropped by for a couple of hours and got in some great play time with Sadbh.
Trach care was very straight forward this evening as Sadbh was very tired and we had no problem keeping her asleep throughout the entire procedure.
Shortly after Katie arrived home, Sadbh woke up and it was time for dinner.
My father has been feeding Sadbh solids throughout the day and she is really getting to like it.
After Katie fed Sadbh, we made up some organic oatmeal cereal and a side of butternut squash mixed with milk and pear. She loved it all and made quite the mess.
Since we don’t have a nurse tonight, or tomorrow, we moved Sadbh upstairs to sleep with us for the weekend. This is how it should be every night.
