Sadbh had a decent night but needed
to be suctioned quite a bit around 1:30. Thankfully she slept right through and
finally fell into a much deeper sleep until 6am.
After nursing and a quick cuddle with
Katie, she was back to sleep by 6:30 for another couple of hours.
She was in a great mood when she woke
up and was over the moon when she set her eyes on Nini.
Nini had returned from a long weekend
away and Sadbh could not stop giving her hugs.
Breakfast was fun, as usual, and
Sadbh entertained everyone by placing slices of grapes on her head.
Nadia was working today and Sadbh got
to head out for a walk.
For fun, Nadia placed socks over
Sadbh’s hands and Sadbh loved it.
They all arrived home in time for
Sadbh’s bath and trach care. Everything went well and Sadbh slept for over two
hours.
When I arrived home from work, Sadbh
and Nadia were out walking around the house. As soon as I opened the window of
my car, I received the biggest smile and Sadbh started jumping with excitement.
You simply cannot beat that type of
reception when you come home from a busy day at work.
Sadbh had a great evening and was
full of beans.
I’ve never seen a child eat as much
as Sadbh did tonight. Especially her spinach, she not only devoured her
portion, she also ate most of Katie’s as well.
