Sadbh
slept for six and a half hours with her trach cap on last night. Even though
her sats were perfect all night she started to get a little restless around
half past three so Helen removed the cap allowing her to sleep on.
Sadbh
woke up in a fantastic mood at 8 and gave me the biggest hug when I leaned in
to kiss her good morning. She was eager to get her day started so we got up and
ate breakfast with all her ponies in the sunshine.
We
had a fantastic morning doing arts and crafts, learning to write, building
puzzles and playing out in the garden.
In
the afternoon we both headed up to Madrona for a walk and for some fun on the
swings and slides. Typically Sadbh does not get to play on these too often due
to germs and so on, however since cold season is over she got to go crazy
today.
She
could not get enough but after an hour or so it was time to head on for some
ice cream.
The
rest of the evening was fun and as soon as Mommy arrived home we got busy with
trach care.
Sadbh
was pooped when it came time for bed and she fell fast asleep in no time at all.
Just
before she fell asleep I was hooking up her humidifier and she grabbed me
around the neck gave me a huge hug and said “we had a lovely day”. It was the
perfect ending to a perfect day.
