Sadbh
had a very restful sleep and Helen managed to cap her trach for just over five
hours.
She
woke up shortly after Helen left and was very content lying in bed while
holding my hand for the next fifty minutes or so.
It was
a grand way to stay the morning.
Sadbh
was in for a treat later in the morning. Ali-Baba and her friend Kathy were
coming by for a play date. We had hoped to get to spend the morning out in the
garden however the weather was terrible so the tea party was held indoors and
Sadbh had a fantastic time regardless.
Sadbh
was very busy making sure that everyone had a full cup of tea and that there
was enough snacks to go around. She did most of the ordering and I spent the
time as her humble server.
Before
they left, Ali-Baba helped with trach care and we thought Sadbh was going to
take a nap afterwards. She was very tired but she proved us wrong and spent the
afternoon enjoying herself.
Bedtime
was a lot easier tonight and Sadbh was out before her usual bedtime.
