Sadbh had a great night and managed to wear her trach
cap for 40 minutes after wearing her PMV for over three hours.
After sleeping in for a while she woke up in a great
mood and started to recite a story from one of her favorite bedtime story
books.
“In the dark dark woods, there was a dark dark house,
and in the dark dark house there was a dark dark room, and in the dark dark
room there was a dark dark cupboard, and in the dark dark cupboard there was a
dark dark shelf, and on the dark dark shelf there was a dark dark box, and in
the dark dark box there was a dark dark angel ghost”. She was able to recite it
exactly but added angel since she was watching the blue angels all weekend.
She was in such a great mood all day and as soon as
she was finished breakfast we headed out to bring Sophia shopping. Sadbh
enjoyed being at the mall and was fascinated when we visited the Lego store.
She was getting very tired by the time we got home so
Sophia and I got trach care out of the way as soon as possible.
It was too late to take a nap so we kept her
entertained for the rest of the evening.
By bedtime she was wiped out and she was off to sleep
in no time at all.
