Sadbh slept soundly with her PMV on until shortly
after three. As soon as Helen replaced the PMV with a cap Sadbh shot up and
demanded the cap to be removed. She slept lightly for the rest of the night but
surprisingly slept in until almost eight.
She was in a good mood and joined Mommy upstairs as
Katie got ready for work.
After breakfast Sadbh, Sophia and I headed down to
the hardware store to get some materials. Sadbh is always well behaved when we
are out shopping and today was no different. We are so lucky to have Sophia
helping out.
As we were checking out, the cashier caught us off
guard and took a hold of Sadbh to measure her height. She kept rubbing her head
saying how tall she is and even Sadbh looked shocked. We have to keep Sadbh
free from any and all germs as she is extremely prone to getting sick. The chances
of her getting sick from this situation is slim, but it still caused us some
stress.
Once home it was time to clean Sadbh up and get her
ready for trach care. She was a good sport and we were able to get trach care
done fairly quickly.
The rest of her evening was spent playing in the
garden with Sophia.
By bedtime she was exhausted and fast asleep in
record time.
