Sadbh's update - day 96

Saturday was an exhausting day for us all. Sadbh had us up three times throughout the night and seemed to be full of energy. Once the night nurse left, I brought her up to bed so we could all get some rest.
I have a feeling that the reason she was awake so much through the night, was partly to do with the nurse not fully knowing her sleeping habits and ways to comfort her when she get's restless.

Anyway, we got some rest and ended up having a great day with her.

We spent the evening over in Theresa and Orla's house for a reception to celebrate Michael and Rosanne's wedding.
Sadbh got some great snuggle time in with Lydia, Orla and a few others. She also got to spend time with Cora, Luna, Aidan, Clodagh, Conor, Dylan and Cormac.
A fun evening was had by all, and we made it home just in time for the night nurse. Actually, we were about five minutes late and the nurse was just about jump into her car to leave. Perfect timing. It's annoying to be tied to these schedules, but I suppose it could be much worse.

Summer seems to have forgotten all about Seattle this year so poor Sadbh is not getting to spend much time outside.

May 16th was the day when Sadbh moved out of the NICU and into the recovery ward. I can't believe that was two months ago.

By the way, our friend Mich who is cycling down the West Coast to LA has already made it to San Francisco and is having a great time. Fair play!

Congratulations Rosanne and Michael!

All the best,

Wayne, Katie and Sadbh.
