Sadbh slept like a log last night and Larissa only had to
suction three times.
She woke up around 3am and did the baby sign for daddy.
Thankfully she dropped back to sleep and did not wake until 7:15am.
Nadia was working today and Sadbh had a great morning.
She was ready for her nap around 11 so I headed home to help
out with trach care. Nadia had taken care of the bath, dried her off and had
her asleep by the time I arrived home.
Nadia cleaned while I held, which was a first for me. Sadbh
was in a deep sleep and did not wake for two and a half hours.
It was time to head out for a long walk after Sadbh woke up.
Once they reached the park, Sadbh and Nadia had a picnic. The both had a great
time and Sadbh filled her belly on all sorts of yummy healthy food.
I arrived home from work just as they arrived back from the
park and Sadbh was grinning from ear to ear.
Nadia is heading back to visit her family in Russia tomorrow
morning for a month and she was beside herself with excitement. On her way out
the door, she doubled back and gave Sadbh a big kiss.
Sadbh had a fun evening and we checked out all the spiders
in our garden. She is fascinated with spiders right now and can spot them a
mile away.
The fun continued after Katie arrived home.
When it came time for bed, Katie told Sadbh that Audrey was
working tonight and immediately Sadbh made the baby sign for Audrey.
She also explained to Sadbh that she would be going on a
trip with a few of her little friends to Lake Chelan and the news proved to be
too exciting for Sadbh. She would not go to sleep and kept making the sign for
each of her friend’s names.
She eventually passed out and fell asleep in the corner of
her crib with her arm up in the air against the rails.
