Audrey was working last night,
so Sadbh ended up getting a great night sleep.
She was cuddled up and all cozy
when I popped in this morning and she managed to sleep right through until 7am.
She started her day off with a
big breakfast and after she was done eating, it was time for the fun and games
to start.
Nadia was working today and
since the painters were working in the kitchen, they all headed down the
basement to play.
Sadbh wore her Passy Muir Valve
for ages and she managed it very well.
Nini and Nadia put Sadbh into
the laundry basket at one point and slid her around on the carpet. Sadbh loved
it and kept signing for more. All three of them had a great time and eventually
Sadbh began to get tired.
Trach care went really well and
Sadbh slept for two and a half hours.
She was in a fantastic mood
when she woke up, so after lunch they all headed out for a long walk through
the neighborhood.
She wore the PMV for the entire
walk and lasted for three hours and twenty-five minutes without any difficulty.
She was making so many sounds. At the park she could not stop saying “hi” to
all the other children and she was smiling from ear to ear.
Our neighborhood had a block
party tonight as part of the National Night Out and Sadbh got to meet a lot of new friends. We did not realize
how many neighbors from the surrounding area have had kids during the last
year.
Sadbh had a great evening and
did not want to go home when it came time for bed. She was having way too much
fun even though she was getting very tired.
