Sadbh
had another good night and had very active dreams again. Her heart rate was
higher than usual but she did not wake and slept right through until 7:40.
Sadbh
is showing signs of her age and is very opposed to doing anything I suggest. It
takes forever to get her to eat, she does not want to take her bath or allow us
to do trach care, she doesn’t even want to go for walks. Unfortunately every
time she pushes back she get’s upset and then struggles to breathe.
It’s
been very frustrating and extremely stressful. Today was no exception and at
bedtime I asked her if she could be a little more open to going with the flow tomorrow,
in which she replied “no!.” I shouldn’t have been surprised with her response
but it was quite funny.
Despite
her moments of being difficult Sadbh had a good day and when it came time for
bed she was exhausted and fell asleep quite quickly.
