Katie contacted a number of nursing agencies this morning and provided them with the contact information for our primary insurance company. Shortly afterwards, she received word that our existing nursing agency was the preferred agency and we could not use any other company.
After further research, we discovered that the only way we could use another agency was if we lived 30 miles or more away from the existing agency.
This news has left us feeling deflated and frustrated, however we are determined now more than ever to keep the pressure on our existing company to get the nursing care that Sadbh requires.
Sadbh got to meet a dear friend of Katie's father today. Ian happened to be in town for an appointment and we were delighted that he got a chance to stop by to meet our precious baby.
