Sadbh was out for the count
last night and had a great night sleep.
She woke up in a good mood
and ready to get her day started.
She had a good day but took
a nice tumble when out walking with Larissa and Marianna. Both knees got well
banged up but she cheered up after the initial shock wore off.
She could not wait for
Sophia to return home from her summer class and in the evening they both had a
lot of fun playing in the back garden.
She had us all in hysterics
laughing this evening as I was watering the garden. Every so often I would
squirt some water at her and she seemed to enjoy it.
The next time I squirted
water at Sadbh she called out very matter of factly, “Wayne, stop messing!” It
was priceless.
She was very tried when it
came time for her bath and her knees really started to hurt her. She had no
desire for trach care and struggled to get out of it. Katie and I persevered
and were able to get it taken care of after a minimal amount of stress.
It took a while to get her
to sleep but by 9:30 she was happy sleeping her head off in her cot.
