Sadbh
woke up after a good night sleep at 6. Crystal had tried to cap her trach at
5:30 and soon Sadbh grew restless. She tolerated the cap for 15 minutes before
Crystal had to remove it allowing her to fall back to sleep.
Sadbh
was not happy when it came time for Mommy to leave for work but she was soon
happy when she helped me make French toast for her breakfast.
It
was a beautiful sunny day so as soon as she was done with breakfast we headed
out for a walk through the neighborhood and on to Nora’s Wood.
Sadbh
walked the whole way there and back and even hiked up through the woods a
couple of times.
She
kept finding spiders basking in the sun along the way and had to get up close
to check them out.
She
was wiped out by the time we got home so it was time for a snack, then a bath
and trach care after she fell asleep, while wearing her trach cap.
Sadbh
slept for almost two hours and spent the afternoon doing arts and crafts and
playing with her dolls.
Bedtime
tonight was easy and Sadbh fell asleep in no time at all.
