Sadbh starts kindergarten
this year and today she participated in “jump start” at her school. Jump start
is only for kindergarten students and it allows the kids to meet their
teachers and classmates and to feel ready and confident ahead of the actual school
start in September.
Sadbh was so excited she
could not wait to get ready for school.
Kati made Sadbh a Schultüte
as a gift for starting school and Sadbh was so proud of herself. A Schultüte
(school cone) is German tradition for kids starting school for the first time
and it is full of treats and it helps by making the first day of school fun and
exciting.
Unfortunately Kati had to
head home today so Sadbh and Cillian joined Mommy and Kati for the drive to the
airport. We are all very sad to see her leave and can’t wait until we see her
again.
Sadbh met a few new friends
today and even met girl with a trach. She had a wonderful time at school and
cannot wait to go back tomorrow.
