Sadbh developed a nasty cough last night and by
2am she was burning up. Katie gave her some Ibuprofen to help however the
coughing lasted through the night.
We kept her home from school and all day she
kept coughing like crazy. We gave her a number of nebulizers throughout the day
and despite the coughing her lungs sounded good.
Her temperature was normal until evening when
she started to spike around 103 degrees. We gave her some Tylenol and at
bedtime Katie gave her Albuterol to help open up her airway.
We have an appointment with her pediatrician
first thing in the morning so we should hopefully have a better idea of what’s
going on.
Cillian is also dealing with the same symptoms
but thankfully since his airway is not restricted he is coping much better than
Sadbh.
