Sadbh had a rough night and we had to give her
some meds around 10pm to help keep her fever down. I spent the first half of
the night with her and around 2am she woke up sweating and shivering.
We gave her some more meds and brought her to
our bed so we could all try and get a better night sleep.
Her doctor’s appointment went well and
thankfully both kids tested negative for the flu.
The rest of Sadbh’s day was spent either
sleeping or taking it easy. Her appetite started to come back by the end of the
day.
Sadbh’s pre-op appointment with Dr. Inglis was
scheduled for tomorrow, ahead of her potential stoma closure in a few weeks,
however since she is dealing with this cold we decided to postpone until she is
doing better.
