Sadbh had her post op appointment with Dr.
Inglis today and he was very pleased with her progress.
He requested a sleep study to see how she is
doing so we will hope to have that scheduled within the next few months.
Since her airway will always be restricted,
preventing the necessary amount of air into her lungs she will need to have an
annual check up to see if she needs any further work done on her vocal cords.
This will probably become more of an issue as
she gets older and gets more active. Dr.
Inglis mentioned that he was hopeful there would be a medical breakthrough in
the future that could help regulate her vocal cord movement.
