Sadbh slept in until shortly after six and thankfully
went back to sleep as soon as Jessica told her that it was still nighttime.
She slept for almost another hour and once awake she
was eager to get upstairs to see Mommy. I came in to take over from Jessica and
Sadbh did not want to have anything to do with me. She bolted up the stairs and
was delighted to see Katie waiting for her at the top.
Once she arrived at the top of the stairs she turned
around, told me that she loved me and that she cannot wait to spend the day
with me.
We both had a fantastic day together and got to catch
up from not seeing each other for the past few days.
It was a damp day but since the rain had stopped we
headed out for a short trip up to Volunteer Park. Sadbh could not wait to get
out of the car and go splashing through the puddles. It was a lot of fun and by
the time she was done she was soaked.
Once in the car she was quickly dry and warmed up.
When we arrived home Sadbh got to chat with Nana and
Granddad and kept asking about her cousin Fionn.
After dinner she set up all her dolls in the basement
and pretended to watch movies with them.
She was very tired when it came time for bed. We were
able to get trach care done before she went to bed and after a quick snuggle
she was off to sleep.
