Sadbh had a very restless night sleep and kept us awake for most
of the night. Around 4am we had to suction a few times and after giving her
some Tylenol, she calmed down and slept soundly until 8am.
She was in a very happy mood when she finally woke up and could
not stop smiling from ear to ear.
Granddad and Nana got her changed out of her pajamas and it was
time for breakfast.
Caity worked again today so Sadbh, Nana and Caity headed up to
Madrona for a walk. Sadbh loved it and really enjoyed playing in the park.
By the time they arrived home, Sadbh was getting tired so they
got the trach care proceedings under way.
Sadbh was obviously exhausted and slept for a couple of hours.
After lunch it was time to head off for a walk and to another
park. She rode the carousel and had a brilliant time.
Sadbh had no interest in riding in her stroller and either
walked or had to be carried the whole time.
As they walked past Garfield High school, the school band was
practicing and Sadbh started to hum along to the music.
They all arrived back to the house a few minutes before I did
and Sadbh greeted me with a huge smile.
Nothing beats arriving home to be greeted by such a happy,
smiley little girl.
By bedtime Sadbh had learned another new word and impressed us
all by saying “Nana”.
She then showed Nana her sign for monkey, much to the amusement
of everyone.
All the best,
Wayne, Katie and Sadbh.
