Sadbh was wide awake at 6
and calling for mommy and daddy. It was another early start and Sadbh was
raring to go.
Since it was Father’s Day I
got to sleep in for a while and Sadbh and mommy got busy making breakfast.
Sadbh was very helpful and was great at tasting the ingredients as they were
being prepared.
Soon Sadbh was climbing into
bed wishing me a happy Father’s Day. She made the prettiest card and gave me
loads of hugs and kisses.
The rest of the morning was
spent playing and having fun and when it came time for trach care Sadbh feel
asleep half way through.
She was in a deep sleep so
we put her in bed where she slept for two hours.
As soon as she was awake we
loaded up the car and headed off to meet with Ali-Baba to celebrate her
birthday.
Sadbh’s cousins were in town
from Portland for the evening and she was over the moon when she met them. Her
cousins are so good and they each took turns helping Sadbh color in her
drawings.
After dinner we headed off
to a bluff over the sound to have some birthday cake. The kids had fun chasing
each other around and burning off some energy.
It was soon getting close to
Sadbh’s bedtime so we said our good byes and hit the road for home. Sadbh was
sad to leave but she will be meeting them all tomorrow so the fun and games
will continue.
Sadbh was pooped by the time
she arrived home and it did not take long before she was fast asleep in her
bed.
It was the perfect ending to
a perfect day.
