Crystal
was able to cap Sadbh’s trach for half an hour during the night before Sadbh
grew restless.
She
finally woke up at 6am and was in a very happy mood.
When
it came time for Mommy to leave for work Sadbh was not too keen. Both of us
made up for it though and had a fun morning playing around the house.
Ali-Baba
stopped by later in the morning to play with Sadbh and to help out with trach
care.
Sadbh
was an angel and we were able to take care of her neck and stoma without any
problems.
Since
she woke so late her naptime came a little later than usual. Sadbh looked very
tired but would not go to sleep. She flopped around in her cot and eventually
stuck her face into the camera and asked me to come get her. It was a funny
sight.
The
rest of the afternoon was spent searching the house for missing cup cakes,
building forts and having as much fun as possible.
Sadbh
was overjoyed when she heard Mommy pulling into the drive and we had to run
outside as fast as possible to greet her.
After
dinner we met with a potential day nurse. She come highly recommended from a
couple of Sadbh’s nurses from Children’s Hospital and Sadbh took to her
immediately.
She
seems like a great match and we are working to figure out her start date.
When
it came time for bed Sadbh was asleep in record time. She was out within five
minutes.
All
the best,
Wayne,
Katie and Sadbh.
