Sadbh’s
heart rate was elevated throughout the night and was in the upper 120’s when
it’s usually in the low 90’s.
I
was initially worried that she was fighting something but it soon dropped back
into her normal range shortly after I took over from Kysha.
Her
temperature and respiratory rate was also fine so it’s quite possible she was
having a very active dream.
She
had a great day and ate a lot of food throughout. When it came time for trach
care she was very tired and cranky so we gave in and she took a nap for an
hour. It did the trick and she woke up in a great mood.
The
sun had burned through the fog and clouds so we loaded up the stroller and
headed out for a walk. Sadbh stopped by to say hi to the chickens along the
way.
After
dinner this evening she got to eat the rest of her cup cake and she had it
devoured in no time at all. I could not believe how quickly she gobbled it
down. Thankfully it was a mini cup cake.
