Sadbh's nurse last night was quite different to all the nurses so far. She recently left Swedish hospital so she could go back to college, and it seems that she is extremely experienced.
Straight off the bat, she took Sadbh's vitals, the old fashioned way and was also quick to check all the equipment. She wasn't happy with the compressor that Katie had adjusted earlier on, and contacted the rental equipment company to have a service technician come take care of it. In fact, she gave the equipment company a run for their money, they had to come out to the house twice throughout the night. Once to replace the compressor, and a second time to bring some extra supplies.
She is taking care of Sadbh again tonight, and we are hoping to get her on the roster more frequently.
Sadbh ended up having quite the busy social day today. First she got to meet some of our great neighbors and later she was invited to a BBQ in West Seattle, where she met a bunch of our close friends. Thanks Theresa and Orla!
