After playing phone tag for a couple of days with our insurance company, Katie finally got to chat with our ex-case manager, and we have received the green light to kick start conversations with additional nursing agencies.
Our first task is to get each of the agencies to negotiate rates and contracts with the insurance company directly, and then we can start interviewing individual nurses to see who is qualified and compatible. It might take a while to get our nursing issue resolved, at least this is a step in the right direction.
Princess Angry Bird was very fussy again today. Her feeding and sleeping pattern is gone completely off schedule, so we have to make a very strong effort to get that back on track. It's heart breaking to see her in such distress, but it's comforting to know it's only gas, and it's nothing compared with what she's already been through.
I hope it's not the new view that she has from her room. I honestly feel that her new view is much better than the old one.
Typically Sadbh is comforted by either her soother, or her mommy's boob. Today, despite all her fuzziness, she found her hand, and it seemed to calm her right down.
