Sadbh spent most of the day today sleeping, which can be good and bad. Turns out, it wasn't such a good thing when it came to taking care of her trach care this evening.
She was so overly tired, it took us several hours to calm her down, and when it finally came time to take care of business, she was extremely fussy the whole time. At one point, she wiggled so much that the trach almost came out of her stoma.
We also had our friend Mick over for dinner, and the poor guy spent most of the evening sitting by himself in the dining room. He was very understanding about the whole situation, and also extremely sympathetic, however I can't help but feel bad.
All in all, we got the job done, and we have learned a lot through this experience. But we are both wrecked.
