Sadbh had her four month check up with her Pediatrician, Dr, Bowe on Monday. As part of this visit, she also received two cocktail vaccination shots and one oral application. I felt terrible for her when she received each of the shots, she was so upset.
She is now vaccinated for Polio, Pneumococcal Disease, Diphtheria, Rotavirus and Hib.
Dr. Bowe was very pleased with her development as she is now 12 pounds, 6 ounces, she's grown to 23-3/4 inches, and her head is 41.3 centimeters.
Her neck and back are very strong as are her legs. He reckons that we could start using the high chair soon, as she is almost ready to support herself, once strapped into the chair.
Katie's sister, Kristi and the kids all arrived from Tokyo, by way of York in England, and everyone was delighted to meet Sadbh. She was full of smiles when she finally woke up.
Quite often babies can be very shy when meeting anyone but those familiar to them. I'm impressed how easy going and friendly Sadbh is when she meets people for the first time.
