Sadbh slept great for the
first few hours but by 2am she was standing in her cot calling out to join us in bed. It’s been a while since Sadbh has slept with us and I was
quickly reminded of the swift kicks to the side of the head while sharing my
bed with my little sweetheart.
Despite a very active and
restless night, Sadbh slept until almost 8am and woke up in a great mood.
She had three grandparents
at her beck and call and she relished in the attention that she received form
everyone.
We had a very playful day
and after a serious amount of fun it was time to get Sadbh ready for trach
care. She enjoyed her bath but it took a serious effort to get her to go to
sleep. Eventually she gave in and we were able to manage trach care without any
problems.
She slept for almost three
hours and when she woke up she found a new present of a baby stroller that Nana
and Granddad bought her. She was delighted and could not stop pushing her baby
dolls around the house in their new stroller.
Sadbh spent the last hour or
so hanging out with Poppy and got to show him her favorite TV show. Eventually
she got very tired so she and Katie headed off to bed for a snuggle before
finally going to sleep.
