Sadbh
woke up and pretended that her trach mist collar was a beard. It was very funny
and she could not stop laughing about it.
She
had an appointment with her dentist this morning and was not too pleased.
Regardless she was very happy to spend more time with Mommy and was very
excited when the nurse switched on the TV mounted to the ceiling with an
interesting cartoon. Sadbh was a star and made such an impression on the nurse
that she got so may gifts for being good.
As
soon as we arrived home it was time for a bath and trach care. Everything went
well and soon Sadbh was having fun playing with her favorite toys.
In
the afternoon Sadbh, Sophia and I headed up to Trader Joe’s for a walk and
Sadbh fell asleep with her trach cap on as we headed home. She slept for forty
minutes with the cap on. She has not been able to do this since early last
year.
The
rest of her evening was spent playing and shortly after dinner she turned to
Mommy and asked to go to bed. This was very unusual but I think she only wanted
to get Katie alone so they could snuggle for a while.
