Sadbh
woke up just as Danielle was leaving. She wanted desperately to wake Sophia up
but since it was still very early I had to work hard to keep her from making
too much noise.
The
weather was nasty so we were all house bound for the day. This did not bother
Sadbh too much and she had a fun day. Especially when Sophia finally woke up.
Sadbh
was over the moon when she saw Mommy pulling up outside. She almost jumped out
through the living room window with delight.
After
Katie and Sadbh got some cuddles in we prepared for trach care. Everything went
well and Sadbh wore her brand new pink Converse high tops.
Later
in the evening we took a walk up to a local bar for a beverage and some ice
cream. Sadbh did not mind what she got as long as it was pink. She lucked out
as they had some delicious strawberry chocolate chip flavored ice cream, which
she devoured.
The
rest of her evening was spent playing with Sophia and by bedtime she was
bouncing off the walls.
It
did not take long before she was fast asleep.
