Sadbh slept great and allowed Katie and me to sleep
in a little bit longer this morning.
After breakfast we called Katie’s brother to check
how things were and if we had the green light to come visit.
Unfortunately, the runny nosed kid was definitely
sick so our trip to Lake Chelan was ruled out. Hopefully the little guy will
get better quickly and we also hope that no one else will catch whatever he
has.
All in all Sadbh had a great day. We had a very
relaxing morning and managed trach care early.
The morning was hot and humid and a thunderstorm kept
Sadbh nervous and very intrigued. It was a great opportunity to teach her how
thunder and lightening is formed.
After the storm rolled by we headed over to West
Seattle for a walk around Lincoln Park where Sadbh had a lot of fun walking
along the shore and picking up stones and shells.
By bedtime she was exhausted so it did not take long
for her to go to sleep.
