Sadbh was in for a treat today. Clodagh had just
returned from her holiday in Europe and wanted to come by for a play date.
Sadbh was thrilled when Clodagh arrived and the two
girls did not waste any time catching up. Clodagh brought Sadbh a beautiful
flamenco dress and before long the two girls were dancing the flamenco.
Sadbh had a great day with Clodagh and she cannot
wait to get to spend more time with her later this week.
Katie and I managed trach care just before bed and
she wore her trach cap when she went to sleep. Katie checked her heart rate,
blood oxygen level and her respiratory rate and she was good on all counts as
she fell into a deep sleep. We will keep a close eye on her until we head to
bed and will change out the cap for a guard as we really need to have eyes on
her all night if she continues to wear the cap.
