Sadbh slept like a log and woke up in a great mood at
seven. She tolerated the trach cap without any problems and did not notice it
being removed at midnight.
Sophia and her family had planned to stay the night
as they were coming through Seattle again on their way east and Sadbh could not
wait.
Unfortunately, they got held up in real bad traffic
up north so it was a few extra hours before they arrived. Sadbh must have asked
me “Is Sophia here yet” a million times but I managed to keep her entertained
and happy until Sophia and family finally arrived.
Once Sophia arrived Sadbh was beside herself and they
both got down to some serious playtime for the rest of the evening.
Trach care went well tonight and after dinner the two
girls continued playing and having fun.
Bedtime was easy as Sadbh was completely exhausted.
Sophia helped put her to bed and she was out in no time.
