We didn't have nurses today to look after Sadbh. After the night nurse left this morning, Katie brought Sadbh up to our room so they could both get a couple of hours extra sleep.
It's actually quite difficult when we don't have nurses. It's impossible to do the simplest of things, like take a shower, etc. since Sadbh requires constant attention. Anyway, Katie did great and the day went well for the most part.
When I got home from work, I took over looking after Sadbh while Katie ran some errands. It wasn't long before Princess Angry Bird arrived on the scene, however I was able to get her calmed down after a while and without getting stressed out.
Lately, when Sadbh gets really worked up, we are starting to hear a little cry. Until now, she cries in silence, not a sound, so it's exciting to hear her cries. Not sure if it means anything, but it seems to be a welcome development.
No news from the insurance company on changing agencies, and no updates on any improvements on the nursing schedule with the current agency.
