Sadbh
slept great and woke up moments after Danielle’s shift ended.
She
was eager to get upstairs to Mommy but I convinced her to hang out for an hour
to allow Mommy to get some well-deserved sleep.
As
soon as Mommy woke up we headed upstairs and Sadbh got to snuggle with both of
us for a while.
Sadbh
really wanted a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast so Mommy decided to give
her one on condition that she ate her breakfast first. Unfortunately, Mommy
gave her the cookie with her breakfast so you know what got eaten and what did
not.
We
decided to get trach care out of the way early in the day so we could head over
to Green Lake for a walk. Sadbh originally put up a fuss but soon gave in and
we were able to get trach care done without any problems.
When
we arrived at Green Lake Mommy popped into a café to get a treat for Sadbh.
Sadbh was all excited when she got her ginger bread man and could not wait to
taste it.
A
few minutes later Sadbh was fast asleep with as she held onto her gingerbread
man.
An
hour or so later Sadbh woke up just as we were getting back into the car. The
first thing out of her mouth was “where is my treat?”.
Nothing
get’s past Sadbh, that’s for sure.
After
dinner the three of us hung out reading some of Sadbh’s favorite books. She was
so comfy sitting between Katie and me and it was a perfect way to end the
weekend.
