Sadbh
slept great and woke up at 4:45. She and Danielle spent the next hour playing
and hanging out.
Just
before our alarm went off we could hear Sadbh calling up the stairs for us to
join in on the fun.
It
was obvious that she was still quite tired so as soon as Danielle finished up
Sadbh took over our bed and eventually fell asleep for a couple of hours.
It
was a very windy day and Sadbh was so excited looking out into the back garden
at the trees and leaves in the wind. Not long after breakfast we lost power.
Sadbh was worried at first and kept looking for the power.
We
had a great morning playing together and when it came time for Sadbh’s nap she
was ready to go to sleep.
After
a relaxing bath we got her ready for trach care and as soon as we were done
with that she snuggled up with Mommy until she fell asleep.
In
the evening we headed down to Ikea to get a few things. The last time we were
in Ikea was the evening before Sadbh was born to get Sadbh’s bedroom furniture and
Sadbh was eager to get out. Katie’s contractions had started but thankfully we
were able to get home so she could rest up before all the excitement of the
next day.
Sadbh
enjoyed Ikea, more so than Mommy and me. Like the last time we could not wait
to get out of there, however Sadbh wanted to buy half the store.
