Sadbh slept great and woke up shortly before half
past seven and was in a very good mood.
She was delighted to see Mommy but was determined to
push me as far away as possible.
What’s interesting is that when it’s just Sadbh and I
we have the best of times together, but when Katie is around she does not want
me in the equation whatsoever.
Regardless, we had a good morning and got ready to
head to the water park in Lake Chelan with the rest of the gang.
We took our time going to the park and arrived an
hour or so after everyone else arrived. Sadbh had fallen asleep in the car so
we decided to check the park out before heading in. It was mayhem and it did
not look like a safe enough environment for Sadbh and her trach. Since she was
asleep we decided to pass and head off for a drive.
When Sadbh finally woke up she was in a good mood and
did not mind not going to the water park. This was a huge relief so we headed
off to a great lookout point to sit out and look at the view of the lake. Sadbh
was in her element and did not want to leave.
Her friends arrived home shortly after us so we got
trach care out of the way so Sadbh got get busy with some serious play. Clodagh
joined Sadbh throughout trach care by lying next to her and watching
Tinkerbelle.
The rest of the day was spent having fun with
everyone and Sadbh was in a wonderful mood.
Bedtime was extra special as Sadbh told me a very
cute story before giving me a big kiss and a hug and a smile.
