Sadbh woke up just as I was taking over from Jirapa
and she immediately wanted Katie. I was able to cheer her up quickly and soon
we were having a fun morning.
After breakfast Sadbh sat next to Cillian and read
him her storybook about her first few months spent in the hospital after she
was born. It was very cute to watch her and it was also very touching since
they both had very different experiences.
We had a fun morning playing and reading books and
after lunch we headed up to Capitol Hill for a walk. Sadbh wanted to ride in
her stroller the entire way there and back. Cillian was happy riding along in
the baby bjorn and I think he slept for most of the trip.
Sadbh was excited all day as her friend Dylan was
coming by for dinner with his parents and she could not wait to get home so she
could be ready for his arrival.
Once home we got trach care out of the way and
afterwards Sadbh waited as patiently as she could for her friend to arrive.
Sadbh and Dylan really need to spend more time
together. They always have a wonderful time and they get along so well.
Tonight was no exception and at one point Katie
caught Sadbh stealing a sneaky kiss from Dylan.
Bedtime was much later than usual and Sadbh was
completely wiped out. She was out like a light and it was just in time as
Jirapa arrived to start her shift not long after.
