Just a quick update to let everyone know that today's ENT visit went well.
Her vocal cords did not show any significant signs of improvement, however there was granuloma build up above her trach within her airway, and they removed the build up with laser surgery.
She will continue to need her trach to breath, but we will be testing the Passy Muir valve in the coming weeks to see how this helps with her speech development.
She's very groggy and is now sleeping off her exciting morning.
I will send out a more comprehensive update along with photos this evening.
