Sadbh had a great night
sleep and did not wake until 7. Larissa took over from Helen at 6 and once
Sadbh was awake it was time for the day to start.
Thankfully Sadbh’s lungs
sounded good and she did not require any suctioning.
The weather was miserable so
Sadbh was housebound for the day. Not to worry, she had plenty to do to keep
her occupied and entertained.
When it came time for trach
care Sadbh kicked back and enjoyed watching the same music videos as yesterday
while Larissa held and Katie cleaned her trach and neck.
She would not go to sleep
afterwards and she ended up quite delirious after a couple of hours.
I had to run to the shops to
get the groceries for the week so we packed up all her equipment and all three
of us headed out for a spin.
Sadbh fell asleep soon after
so once we had the shopping done we parked the car at Volunteer Park and hung
out while Sadbh slept on for an hour.
Sadbh’s two new cousins,
Fionn and Annabella, were born today and Sadbh could not stop checking out their
photos. She kept trying to kiss them and you could tell that she is eager to
meet them as soon as possible. Congratulations Ann and Ger!
