Sadbh
woke up in a great mood after a restful night sleep.
She
had a fun morning and we got to get creative with play dough and later on with
shaving foam. Sadbh had a brilliant time and made quite the mess.
After
lunch we headed off up to Trader Joe’s for a couple of things and of course
Sadbh was on the hunt for Kangaroo Joey. It did not take long before she found
him and off she went to get her reward. The woman behind the counter fell in
love with Sadbh and offered her a second lollipop, however I had to decline the
kind offer, otherwise Sadbh would expect two each time and I can’t imagine what
all that sugar would do to her teeth.
Our
afternoon was up and down and both Sadbh and I knocked heads a number of times.
It was very exhausting.
Katie
had a very trying day on the phone with the insurance company and with what we
had hoped to be our new medical supply company. Unfortunately, our insurance
company does not cover the medical supply company so we have to continue the
search.
We
took care of trach care at bedtime and just as she was getting ready to go to
bed Sadbh came out and gave me a big hug, a kiss and told me that she loved me.
We both agreed to do our best to make sure that tomorrow will be a better day.
