Sadbh
had a restless night and was crying in her sleep a few times throughout the
night.
She
woke up in a fantastic mood and was delighted to see Mommy.
Sadbh’s
monthly trach change was scheduled for earlier in the week but we decided to
postpone it until today. Sadbh was cooperative at first but she got very upset
just as we got ready to remove her old trach. The stress level got quite high
in the room and we eventually had to call on the assistance of Sophia to help
out.
It
worked but Sadbh did get startled when I inserted the new trach and we had to
console her for a while afterwards.
The
weather was terrible so we headed out to take care of some errands. We stopped
off at Café Presse along the way and Sadbh got a nice ice cream treat for her
troubles. On the way back to the car she jumped into every single puddle she
could find and she had a wonderful time.
As
soon as we arrived home we changed Sadbh into her pajamas and watched Finding
Nemo until bedtime.
