Sadbh
was flipping and flopping all over her bed and did not settle down until 3. By
then she was sleeping at the foot of the bed.
She
woke up very happy shortly after 7 and was ready to take on the day.
Sadbh
and I had a fantastic day but despite the gorgeous weather we were housebound
waiting for a technician to come by and check on her humidifier compressor.
For
some reason or other Sadbh thought it would be a great idea to strip off all
her clothes and run around the house in the nude for an hour or so. At one
point she asked me, quite seriously “can you take your pants off for a minute?”
I was doubled over with laughter.
Sadbh
could not wait for Sophia to get home from school and was thrilled when she
heard the keys in the front door.
Uncle
Neil stopped by for a cup of tea and when Sadbh saw him she greeted him with
“how’s it going geezer?”
The
fun and games continued throughout the evening and after dinner we got a very
tired little girl ready for trach care. Everything went well and Sadbh headed
off to bed immediately afterwards.
We
submitted two appeals to our insurance company a few weeks ago after their
peer-to-peer denial with Dr. Inglis. Unfortunately both appeals were declined
so we need to submit another appeal to try and push the approval through.
All
the best,
Wayne, Katie and Sadbh.
