I
was extremely frustrated with our night nurse as she is never on time for her
shift. I had words with her last week and she actually improved for the few
nights afterwards. Unfortunately she was late again last night and her excuse
was bad drivers due to the rain. Seattle is full of bad drivers, especially
when it rains and everyone knows this.
Sadbh
slept great and woke up in a very happy mood. We had a fun morning but she had
no appetite and refused to eat breakfast.
We
spent the morning doing arts and crafts, learning the alphabet and reading a
bunch of her favorite books.
By
11 she was hungry but she still did not eat too much.
The
sun came out in the early afternoon so Sadbh and I headed out for a walk to
check in on the chickens. Sadbh insisted on wearing her wellies and decided to
jump into the biggest puddle she could find. She had a great time and would not
leave.
When
it came time for trach care Sadbh was extremely tired and did not really want
to participate. She finally gave in after a nice snuggle with Mommy and before
she knew it we were done and she was nodding off to sleep.
