Sadbh
had a fantastic day playing with Nana and Granddad. She managed to keep them
both very busy despite not leaving the house due to the horrible weather.
After
trach care Sadbh insisted on taking a nap and slept for almost an hour and a
half with her trach cap on.
Later
in the evening her cousins stopped by so we all headed to the local cinema for
cartoon happy hour. Sadbh and her cousins had a wonderful time and enjoyed many
old classic cartoons. They
concluded the evening by having a dance party on the stage.
At
bedtime Sadbh was full of hugs and kisses. It was later than usual but she soon
dropped off into a deep sleep.
We
received news that Sadbh’s primary insurance company will continue to cover our
nursing care but we received notification that her secondary insurance provider
has closed our second appeal so we launched another appeal. The fun and games are to continue.
